I am going to take a guess. I think they were told to stand down. We'll see if this turns out to be the truth. I find it hard to believe 4 deputies would hide without orders to do so.

Maybe. But, I think if it were me and I heard kids getting slaughtered, I’d run like hell to try to save them. Especially having their training. It’s unacceptable if that’s the truth.
