CNN continues to promote far-left writer Julia Ioffe after she lied on CNN earlier today, saying that Trump has "radicalized so many more people than ISIS ever did." She made multiple false claims during the segment tonight without any pushback from CNN (THREAD):pic.twitter.com/SCqnp7AW9u

Here's a link to the transcript: By the way, nearly the entire media, including right-leaning publications, get this wrong. How hard is it to find an accurate transcript and actually look at what he said and the context?https://www.whitehouse.gov/briefings-statements/remarks-president-trump-infrastructure/ …

Even though
@realDonaldTrump has ALWAYS condemned these types of groups, people spread this lie that he has not. It’s all over Facebook. I think many of them don’t even know they are spreading a lie. They just believe what they see on the#FakeNews. Sad.Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

I'm glad I saw this tweet...I'm very pro-Trump, but what I saw of his comments post-Charlottesville left a bad taste in my mouth, and it was really the one issue I took. Now that I read the full thing, and rewatch the full clip, I see that what he said was completely good.

People who march with white supremacists are not "very fine people."
-
I agree fully. I think the point is that some people who were there for the statue didn't join that march.
-
Please point these people out. I want a word with them.
-
Okay...go back and watch videos of what was happening at the statue before and after the march. If you see people standing around, you'll want to talk to them.

Look, The President was saying that there were good people on both sides. He was clearly speaking about the whole reason for the protests, which was a debate about Civil War statues, and whether they should be removed. The MSM twisted that because they hate.

Oafe is getting too much air time. She is clearly a resistance member.

The left always brings this up when people ask for evidence Trump is a “racist.” They say it over & over again when they all know that wasn’t what he was saying. The sad thing is people actually believe it. The press may not be the “enemy” but they do seem to enjoy dividing.

The original group weren't the white nationalists. Both they, and the antifa groups crashed the event.

If the President was even half the monster they portray him as they wouldn't need to purposely misquote him to make him look bad.

Trump was saying there were fine people among the Charlottesville residents that wanted to keep the college's monument. American citizens preserving shared history, not white supremacists.
