Florida Democratic governor nominee Andrew Gillum refused to answer on Sunday if he paid for tickets to the Broadway show Hamilton. His campaign has repeatedly said he got the tickets from his brother. Records released today show he got the tickets from an undercover FBI agent.pic.twitter.com/JDRYU7Hkdv

What is the significance of this? Was it a Broadway ticket sting or something? I know that sounds absurd but I'm really asking.

He took tickets from person he thought was a developer. It is illegal for politicians and state employees to take things of value from anyone much less someone they think is wanting something.

Dishonest Andrew Gillum starting to show his true colors already. I can only hope that the good people of Florida haven’t had their eyes closed. Democrats have not had any success at being good managers of the people’s money! Look at LA, Chicago, New Orleans, San Francisco!

Free matters not. Ever heard of Ethics Violations? The fair market cost of those tickets is far above the threshold set by government agencies. Unethical a little, unethical a lot, is still unethical. I want no governor who can't be trusted.

Wait... He refused to answer? But the questioning of a recent Supreme Court Justice demonstrated that not answering questions is perfectly acceptable. We'll, which is it? Bad or good? Either way you're wrong.

I like how he appointed a big pharma CEO to head up the dept. of Health and Human Services. Talk about sad. It's all about making the rich richer and the poor poorer and I just can't see how the GOPs middle class supporters can't see that.

True enough but the Dems seem more willing to toss us some of the table scraps. Stuff like letting us keep our Social Security and Medicare "entitlements" (that we've paid into our entire life).

Republicans don’t want to take that stuff away... what they want to take away is Medicaid for able-bodied people not senior citizens..The problem is people that are capable of working are on Medicaid and that is the biggest drain on our SS and Medicare

Maybe you're right and we'll dodge that bullet but when Trump appointed a Big Pharma CEO to head up the department of Health and Human Services (the one who hiked insulin prices from $20 to $200+) I realized that he doesn't give a #### about us.
