12/ The reason why spying by Halper on Gen Flynn is absent from the latest FBI propaganda piece by NYT is because it predates the official timeline by many months and was not legally predicated.

Flynn was at that dinner table with Putin in Dec. 2015 so I would guess they will tell us that is the legal predicate for the spying--that they had to find out if he was acting on Putin's behalf. I don't find that convincing but many will.
