You seem to have ignored the passive aggressive, " I was thinking if you’re feeling patriotic, you would appreciate free speech and one’s right to think as an individual."

That's not passive-aggressive, it's saying, "Patriotism comes from respecting people's rights to free thought even if they don't align with yours." We shouldn't have to worry about employers or managers firing us because we have differences in political or religious opinions.

So you are arguing that shop and business owners have to do business for and with people who's views they disagree with?

I would never shun anyone in my business because they are Muslim, Christian, Atheist, gay, queer, Republican or Democratic, I don't care what you are as long as you are a good person and treat my business with respect. Period.

No. No one should be forced to do anything. Would I bake the cake, yes, I would bake the cake. I would separate my religious views from my business, but that's me. However, it's their private business and if they didn't feel comfortable doing it, then don't do it.

In the case of gay rights, civil rights, women's rights, voting rights we have lots to fear.

Well with Trump's next supreme Court pick, we may lose to roe v Wade, gays may lose the right to marriage equality, and the GOP are now emboldened to go after voting rights.
