Screening students at an alternative school here in Houston identified a young man trying to enter the school with a pistol this morning. Yes, it’s time consuming but isn’t it time well spent?

I taught in one school where there were well over 50 doors as some led to parking in the rear or classroom in a separate building out back. Even though they all locked, they often didn’t close completely. This problem is not easily solved, but you are on the right track. #safety
