This Memorial Day as we contemplate the incredible courage and sacrifices made by our fellow Americans on the battlefields of the world, let us endeavor to remember what they were fighting for. They wanted to ensure that we could live in peace and freedom.

Really? GOP bureaucrats and politicians who never put on a real uniform are now the new heroes on the same level of those who died in service to our country? This is a sick and pathetic appropriation of Memorial Day for political purposes.
