Currently, we take in 2000 to 3000 immigrants per day through an orderly legal process. That is far more than any other nation on earth. This is but one of the many organized and legal processes that we have developed over the years to maintain order while exercising compassion.

2000 (the minimum) refugees per day through an orderly legal process = just under 1.4 years to surpass 1 mill orderly legal wonderful refugees in the US but I don’t think we will stop and I also think we provide much more aid to the legal refugees than Uganda.
