Some say voting is too much of a hassle. Some say their vote doesn’t matter. Some say the system is so corrupt that they want nothing to do with it. Where would we be if our ancestors had adopted such a negative attitude? Would we even have a nation?
But they didn’t and willingly fought for their beliefs to instill values and principles into our founding documents that resulted in a nation that remains the dream destination for millions. What other nation has caravans of people trying to get in because it is so desirable?
Currently, we take in 2000 to 3000 immigrants per day through an orderly legal process. That is far more than any other nation on earth. This is but one of the many organized and legal processes that we have developed over the years to maintain order while exercising compassion.

Why vote when you can be appointed for a housing cabinet job that you aren’t qualified for by the guy who lost the popular vote?
You do know that we don't elect Presidents by popular vote right? You should know that the most popular person is not always the best person. The system we use insures that all States have a voice. You can't be against that right?
