Thanks for reaching out. If the video you’re watching is longer than 5 mins, you may see 2 ads appear back to back. This should only happen for skippable ads or bumper ads (which are up to 6 seconds). Hope this clarifies.

I wish there was a way of sponsored ads within YouTube Premium being blocked. It defeats the purpose of Premium partially.

I'm paying for YouTube Premium which blocks ads as a feature and pays content creators. The ads I'm talking about ate content creators sponsored ads, and YouTube could require timeline markers to jump that portion. IE: One of the features I pay for is being defeated

You mean you want premium to skip the ad part of a sponsored video?

Yes, if a content creator places an sponsored ad in their video it defeats the purpose in partial for paying for the service of YouTube Premium. It can taken care of easily with jump markers at the start and end of the sponsored portion of the content.

To avoid confusion the sponsorship I was talking about was product based sponsorship. I'm not talking about avoiding Patreon based (those are fine) since the very short segment is looking for sponsors and common with music/arts based content. Those I look at as requests.
