Thanks for reaching out. If the video you’re watching is longer than 5 mins, you may see 2 ads appear back to back. This should only happen for skippable ads or bumper ads (which are up to 6 seconds). Hope this clarifies.

I wish there was a way of sponsored ads within YouTube Premium being blocked. It defeats the purpose of Premium partially.

I'm paying for YouTube Premium which blocks ads as a feature and pays content creators. The ads I'm talking about ate content creators sponsored ads, and YouTube could require timeline markers to jump that portion. IE: One of the features I pay for is being defeated

Yes, if a content creator places an sponsored ad in their video it defeats the purpose in partial for paying for the service of YouTube Premium. It can taken care of easily with jump markers at the start and end of the sponsored portion of the content.

Not really, YouTube fed ads on videos pays from Premium. The sponsorship in ad doesn't pay automatically anything from an individual user. It pays the Creator directly and YouTube Premium is supposed to be ad free. My point it dillutes the service (YouTube Premium).

1/2 Monetary value is basically on clicks on ads not views per video. A sponsor ad is as annoying as any other ad. If a video starts out with a short opening " this video is sponsored by (sponsor name) not annoying. But a lengthy sponsorship promo distracts from the content of ..

2/2 .. the video. It's a lengthy ad that hopes to generate response toward the product. One of the benefits of Premium/Red is not be annoyed. I've watched videos that have sponsor ads take up +10% of the content. Disengaged by that point of content being presented
