I bet a lot of teams are being punished for being bad anas. They don't know how to position well enough to take advantage of the hero, so they get picked apart and focused. Moira avoids that issue.

Moira can use her orb without being susceptible to dive because of fade. Her coalescence can heal multiple tanks at once rather than just one and can be used to initiate and still get healing done while nano-boost can fail to arrive if the tank dies too soon. Also aiming is hard.

In addition Moira's fade allows for the crossing of some gaps and, although not important in this meta, can allow her to escape scenarios where she is hooked by hog. Her primary damage/healing is not deflected by Genji and again, I can't stress this enough: Aiming is hard.
