Nah, I dislike that Marxists too often ignore intersectionality as they appropriate issues of identity politics and try to make them about why capitalism is the real problem.

Social Justice is impossible for poor people in a capitalism system.

And social justice will never be attained if Marxists strip social issues of their intersectionality and appropriate them so predominately white men can explain to the rest of us who aren't that the 'real problem' is capitalism.

Am I missing something here? How is Marxist class struggle not intersectional? It's it intersectional by definition?

How is Marxism intersectional by definition, exactly?

Because classes aren't homogenous. People of color, women, LGBTQ+ people, disabled people etc are all united along with White Cis dudes under class struggle. Idt that Marxism ignores that groups are effected to different degrees or states that those differences should be ignored

Historically it's meant white cis dudes telling everyone that. I don't see intersectionality at work in Marx or, frankly, in the analysis of current, say, social media, advocates.

Okay, idk maybe I'm just missing something because these things aren't separate imo. Intersectional feminism has to tackle aspects of class struggle doesn't it?

And feminists have, gendered labor and unpaid labor have long been issues feminists criticised. My objections are to appropriating discussions and making them about economics as if race, gender and bigotry can be removed and the conversation changed.

Ah, okay, sure that's counterproductive & oversimplifying things.
