So I just got out of #AQuietPlace & boy it was dumb.
Okay good things first. The cinematography, acting, gimmick of very little sound including voices, & concept were all fantastic. There were a few bullshit jump scares, but most of the scenes had good tension.

Still going on about that nail. If you are carrying something up stairs & it gets caught, why would you keep pulling on it!? Also why the fuck wouldn't you check to see what it was caught on!!!!???? Okay I'm done talking about the nail.

6. I loved all of the touches on how these people sound proofed everything. It was one of my favorite things about the movie. The production & props were very good, but why would you hang ANYTHING on a wall? That shit could fall at any minute & kill everyone.

a. I don't think they showed that if you unplug the headphones the sound would play through speakers & b. Why the fuck would the speakers be playing what they were TRANSMITTING!? Can this thing hear radio waves? Why didn't it hear all the other transmissions he sent out?

Yikes. I honestly didn't realize how many problems I had with this movie. There might even be more, but that's all I can think of now. What a mess...

What? How do you pull a nail through a board without ripping the bag first? How would it even get caught in the first place? The nail was clearly nailed from underneath the step up through the board & was then bent over so it was pointing down the stairs.
