Everyone's saying that the treatment of Art3mis was better than in the book but in a lot of ways I thought it was worse. I had more of a sense of Art3mis being a person who existed beyond Parzival's limited perspective

And the scene where she breaks up with him in the book felt very real. In the movie it's just 1) they meet 2) "I love you!" 3) "okay!"

I'm sorry are you saying the scene where he's like "IS IT BECAUSE I'M A VIRGIN?!?!" felt very real? Todd. Todd, no.

It's real in that she responds to it by refusing to talk to him for twelve chapters

Right? Everything seemed to move crazy fast. The romantic ark feels less earned than the book. There isn't enough time for them or the audience to get invested in the relationship.
