The original quote is from Strasser. It first appeared in a 1926 pamphlet titled "Thoughts about the Tasks of the Future". Strasser proposed a ‘socialist’ programme of action as an alternative to the one endorsed by Hitler for the party. As a result he was assassinated.
You're totally right. In the book "Hitler: Reden, Schriften, Anordnungen, Februar 1925 bis Januar 1933" it's the full May 1st 1927 speech, the exact one Toland is citing with nothing less than 10 different primary sources of that speech and ALL OF THEM DO NOT CONTAIN THIS QUOTE.
