For the love of god Tyler. What don't you understand about the difference between racial prejudice & racism? All ppl have some amount of racial prejudice, but White ppl have systems of power that allow them to act on their prejudice in a different way. That is called racism.

Because there is no difference since racism is hating other base on their skin color. I don't see what having systems of power got to do with it. Not all white people have power.

1. So you're telling me that a minority that has virtually no representation in government, educational boards, policing forces etc can act of their racial prejudice the exact same way as a group they does have control of those systems? 2. White ppl as a group do that's the point

1. Yes a black person can act racist in the same way as a white person. 2. I disagree that White and Black people are a collective, we are all individuals who may or may not have power over others depending on our job. That is not exclusive the White people.

Lol well good luck talking about analysis of how people interact within society & effective policies if you have to look have every individual
[hint] you can't and we don't because that isn't how anything works.1 reply 0 retweets 0 likes -
You dont have to look at every individual, racism isnt inherently a collective action so saying black ppl cant be racist is straight up false as individual black ppl can be racist. Redefining it to be racial prejudice doesn't make it not racism.

No, but it makes it different from a person who is racist & part of the group in power. It's not saying that it isn't racist. It's saying that racism can have different impacts. One's talking about individuals & the other is talking about systems.
