Not destroyed rhetorically. Rhetorically destroyed, as in, their rhetoric has been destroyed, and indeed with facts. Besides, facts and rhetoric are not mutually exclusive. Only in their case, theirs is absent of facts.

Concluding there is "no relationship" not only leaves the questions I posed hours ago still unexplained, it compounds the mystery: why do police consistently kill more whites, even though whites do not commit most of the murders?

Right. Rates of police incidents have nothing to do with rates of violent crime. Sure. That's why Asian-Americans who have the lowest rate of violent crime are also killed by police at the lowest rate. Strange coincidences, eh?
