You do know that many people were wrongfully convicted by Drs who said that there was "substantial evidence of sexual abuse" but who actually didn't know that they were talking about, right? Listen to that Stuff You Should Know podcast that I linked. They talk about it.

Absolutely! :) Being honest about all faults in evidence actually lends more credence when a serious case occurs.
