What is the issue here? It's a little dumb to ask people to not use "the M word" but it's something to think about & the video covered the racist history of both the word & the drug war. You're really going to ignore all of that to complain because they said Politically Correct?

If they had a current poll showing that people responded better when saying cannabis or weed instead of marijuana they'd have kind of a point a point. But no it's just virtual signaling nonsense.

I think that it's pretty dumb to say one word over another, but I do think that it's worth keeping in mind the racist history of the drug war that is still ongoing. The problem is they Tyler is going to ignore all of this to cry about some saying that he shouldn't use a word.

You can keep in mind the racist history without erasing the word marijuana from the lexicon.

Refusing to use marijuana is also going along with the original negative association of Hispanic things being bad. Use the word proudly, with positive uses to throw a middle finger at the racist past. Turn it into a celebration instead of a condemnation.

Yeah, I think that's a defiant possibility because it originally had neutral connotations, right? Taking the word back sounds like a good/better plan.
That's a good point that I missed. Thanks for pointing it out.
