It might be different in Canada, but I'm talking about the States. We have a long history of oppressing POC that is still going on today e.g. discrimination within highering practices, the Criminal Justice System, the education system, voting, redlining etc.
You're ignoring things like Redlining, white flight, and Blacks being cut out of the GI Bill, the drug war, & discrimination in the CJS all of which contributed these communities being poor which, because of the way we fund schools, leads to them being fucked from the start

White flight (I assume whites leaving areas that start becoming multicultural) probably stems from racism but I don't take much issue because I support freedom of association. I'm with you on drug war. Redlining is less to do with race and more win risk. What does CJS stand for

Also how are black denied in GI bill, I've never heard of that. Not saying it doesn't happen
