Because it's stupid to say that it's "only for adults" it's for people who masturbate & if teens & in some cases preteens are masturbating, in possibly unsafe ways, why wouldn't you want to give them a safe way to do it?

Idk how about when they start showing an interest in seeking these things out or doing them? If they don't by 13 then that's probably a good time to talk to them about it even if you haven't noticed them showing an interest earlier.

Also, porn & masturbation are two different things. Porn involves a lot more things than "touching yourself feels good". So talking to/allowing your kid to do/watch these things aren't necessarily going to be at the same time. Porn would probably happen closer to puberty.
