It's easy to forget that because of how YouTube works. It makes you feel like people are talking to YOU, but they aren't. Everything you see from a web series to a Vlog is an act & is edited to show the best version of someone. You aren't pals. I think it's really dangerous to-

Yeah, but that's different from people who passively watch videos & think that there is a connection when everything is one-sided. The video format creates an illusion that there is a two-way dialogue that allows you to "know" the YouTuber.
