No actually it isn't. Texas is massive. So when they make a change in their textbooks it effects textbooks nation wide.
That's why ppl constantly try to do it in Texas. It's because that is the most effective state to do it.
Or because it's a massively conservative state hence why the issue regarding Moses is being brought up.
Texas school books do not dictate US school book criteria.
In fact Texas never adopted common core but that didn't stop the majority of the country from doing so.
