Women are free to choose the profession that pays well. If women choose the ones that don't then they should own up to it.

Right, but why do women choose lower paying jobs? Could it maybe be because of how women are socialized?

Could be not, could be yes, but the answer to the topic is still that earning or salary should be equal to the market value of contribution.

Right, but if we are socializing women into not being interested in or thinking they can do higher value jobs, that's a problem.

Why is it a problem? There's always trade off. Less paying jobs could also mean less stress and less work. Value isn't always about money.

It usually does, that has to do with my second point. Also, why not encourage women to do higher paying jobs? More options is usually better

you can convince them. Just not forcing companies to impose quota. To me it's all about choices, and equal contribution = equal money.

Many women have been convinced. There are way more women going into these fields now because ppl talked about it instead of dismissing it.

I'm cool with it just not the way many people go about it that this case is something that is unfair or sexism. It's not. It's a choice.

Idk I think discouraging women from going into law or STEM ect for a long time is unfair & sexist & is a big reason for the disparity.

Also, women being expected to be the primary caregivers/doing housework gives them less time to work/go to school which is also a factor.

Well isn't that about social responsibility that one must make. The trade off. Not all women can do it all. Lots of women actually prefer it

Freedom of choice. I guess the movement was to convince women dont have to do that. The whole motherhood thing which we all free 2 choose
