They first give "gender" a separate, fuzzy definition from sex, then conflate the two to diminish the latter.

Yes, we are familiar with those definitions. We dislike how they are misused to muddy "male/female" with "masculine/feminine."

Chromosomal abnormalities are distinct cases, not spectrum, and they are still classified as female (X0, XXX) or male (XXY, XYY).

But thats only male or female by the chromosomes. What about if the genitals don't matter/are ambiguous? How can you say one takes priority?
