Granted, it is a lot harder for minorities, poor people, & young people to vote, those issues need to be fixed, but politicians are ultimately afraid to lose their jobs. That is the threat that every voter holds.

Fortunately, in Minneapolis it is easier than some places. Early voting options and same day registration/voting. HOWEVER, we have ranked choice voting in the city which benefited the current mayor as many people's second choice last election.

Yeah, ranked-choice would be the best, but no politician is going to vote for it because they want the status quo.
