What specific reforms? What policies?

Police de-militarization, greater comunity overnight, police retraining, & holding police accountable for their abuses for a start.

Dude. Occupy had a clear message. The media created the illusion that it didn't. Then the government sent riot cops.

I don't know how true that is. There may have been some people who had a clear message, but I don't remember them being organized. At the very least we can learn that pushing that clear message out better than the media is needed

Kinda disagree and think it's about police abolitionism and the rise of white supremacy elsewhere, but the presumed point is that race needs to be at the top of everybody's priorities when discussing this.

Reform is a vague term, it's specifically about defunding the cops.

Respectfully I believe justice reform is more all encompassing (can't forget the for profit prison industry complex), but is that even enough? True unbiased equality should be the real goal.

The history of slavery, jim crow, and prison as a new form of slavery show how capitalism and white supremacy are intimately interconnected; they cannot exist without each other. This means black liberation and anti-capitalism cannot be severed BLACK JUSTICE IS ECONOMIC JUSTICE

I believe I agree with you inmost respects here. I was more along the lines of systemic racism and how it shows up in the police and not neccissarily that they needed the reforms specifically.
