I really don't know if voting for Biden really is damage control. 4 years of Trump before trying to get another progressive candidate in or 4 years of Biden followed up with a choice between 4 years of Biden or 4 years of a republican.

Is it damage control to pick between the two right wing authoritarian warmongering sex pests? A mass movement to vote third party genuinely might get more done.

The problem that a third party can never win in the states. Also, people always forget about the record number of live long appointments of fundamentalist judges that Trump has been making. Stopping that in & of itself is damage control.

I get you. I really do. I just think that it's keeping within the box of what your society demands. Your political system is completely broken to not ever be able to change. I've honestly not noticed from the outside a really big change in US politics from Bush-Obama-Trump.

Oh yeah, our system is horrible. First past the post has doomed us to a two party system. I mean things can change. The Tea Party actually radically changed the Republican party, granted that was astroturfed, but it is technically possible to shift a party.
