Look, I'm glad that you have done good things with your money, but again, this isn't how we effectively solve problems massive systemic problems. You need targeted taxes on where the money is. Okay, if you're only talking about people over 100k then your argument is worse 1/2

The top 1% have almost as much money as the entire middle class combined. If you're only talking about the upper middle class then there is WAY less money there. This all seems like something that would be good. People can also give more to charity, but it's not a solution.

It will greatly alleviate lot of suffering until greater systemic change can be made. Which is the moral thing imo. Just because helping a lot of poor people doesnt completely change the system doesnt mean we should not help a lot of poor people.

Sure, but "You're immoral for having $100k+" is a hard sell to any part of the middle class or even possibly lower class people Putting in time & energy to tax the few ultra wealthy seems like a better sell here Like you're causing division in BreadTube Good luck with normies

What we are advocating would actually help breadtube. Thats the whole point of it. Content creators being transparent so ppl can make a more educated decisions about were their financial support will go, which is meant to help smaller creators & grow the community.

I don't think that's how people make decisions & it's also ignoring expenses. People with more subs are going to get more money. Also, you don't know who else they support financially. I do agree that BreadTube needs to get better at promoting smaller channels.

Thats the whole point of transparency. The more transparent you are the less anyone has to make assumption. & I disagree. A huge part of the reason these ppl have their patreon amount hidden is bc they know if they were public many ppl would be more likely to donate elsewhere.

You can already see how many people are supporting any given moment person. People support creators that they like because they make something they enjoy. I don't think most people are like, "Oh, well that person is making enough."

Also idk how you know why they have it private. That's just pure speculation. And again, 5 YouTubers isn't going to make a dent in the massive funding that the Right has on YouTube. It seems like a weird purity test for 5 fucking people dude
