Are you doing what you can? Do you spend every waking minute where you're not working at leftist organizations? Spreading leftist ideas? Do you donate every dollar past what you need to leave to leftist causes? If not, you're not doing your part...

No one is asking for every dollar made. If you make a lot of money telling people what to do politically you should be walking that walk too. Even more cuz youre rich off of left-leaning donors

And they do walk that walk... they spend that money on production costs for their videos, lots of time researching, and I'm sure they supprt charities, orgs, and other creators aplenty. Why isn't that stuff enough for you?

You're sure of something not seeing evidence of it.. And walking the walk doesn't include investing in your own channel

It’s like religion. They just have faith with no evidence. And at the same time they oppose transparency so they could actually know for sure. It’s wild.

If your care about what is practical for policy why would you go after the middle/upper middle class, who are 25-66% of the population, when you could go after the 1%? They have the same amount of wealth so you'll only stand to turn off more people for a similar/worse outcome.

Also, people donating to charity doesn't solve systemic problems. That's basically a Libertarian argument. You need targeted taxes to actually solve problems & you're never going to be able to raise taxes on any part of the middle class in a significant way.

Yeah charity wasn’t a great example for what the money could be used for. However there is a lot of money floating around, and it could be possibly used for the roots of a proper political movement. Right wing YouTube floundered because it never went a did anything, 1/

Again, the right wing have billionaires pooling their money to fund shit. A couple upper middle class people giving money isn't going to complete with that. This is a problem of scale.

True, we can’t compete with the right as they do have proper institutional funding for them, however that just means that every dollar we do have needs to go further. I’m not going to pretend I know what we should do, but we will need to discuss how to move forward.

I can think of something we should do. How about we don't continually instigate infighting on our side, and focus on our common enemies? I fail to see how the left can EVER win, if we're constantly tearing ourselves apart over insipid shit.
