So then what more can they do? Them just giving away all their money won't amount to shit. Even though they earn a fair bit, they don't earn anywhere near enough to fund organizations capable of enacting their ideas on a society wide level.

And by "go after" I'm simply advocating for encouraging charity while discourage wealth accumulation, by using social pressure. Not advocating anything severe.

Also, people donating to charity doesn't solve systemic problems. That's basically a Libertarian argument. You need targeted taxes to actually solve problems & you're never going to be able to raise taxes on any part of the middle class in a significant way.

I'm not sure anyone has made that argument. We are simply talking about harm reduction until systemic change can be made. Advocating those with financial excess to share the wealth in no way stops you from fighting for systemic change.

The leadership of socialist organizations generally do not accumulate any person wealth usually using everything towards a larger party. Obviously bread tube is wildly different, but if it is ever going to go anywhere we need to have these conversations.
