Unfortunately, no. I saw two people I typically chat with were doing this, and I'm shook because I hear this criticism of WOST students being simplistic and yet people aren't understanding the VERY basic feminist concepts of those classes.

I was disheartened that the convo then turned to, "I get attacked by this word or have seen it happen, we need a new term for this complex feminist theory." I don't want our language to ignore the real patriarchal issues we are fighting through gender neutralizing it.

Yeah, like it might be good to make a term that is less likely to feel like an attack, but there is definitely utility in gendering it because different "toxic" traits are re-enforced for different genders.
