It's worth noting, of course, that people who seek out movies like this generally know what they are and will enjoy them. An actual person who reviews film? Not so much. They're generally awful, though.

Uhm... yeesh. I liked it! Forgive me if this praise is too high or unwarranted, but it makes me feel like I should actually view Solaris, because Ad Astra felt like it was a distant cousin of Solaris. It didn’t command my attention, but it kept me focused enough to not turn away
