This is a real dumb argument. A fry cook "works harder" than a Doctor too. Hard labor isn't the criteria for wages, it's your skills & the demand for those skills. The problem with CEOs and similar board roles, is they effectively choose their own pay and are the arbiter of what skills are worth and just coincidentally rate their own skills as being worth millions.1 reply 0 retweets 36 likes

Sure, I don't think that the current corporate structure should go without criticism, but I don't know how you could argue that a fry cook & a CEO should be paid the same, outside of a minimum wage. I think the upper limit of their pay has definitely grown too much tho
