Can't tell if you're being sarcastic or not. This is not a dumb argument at all when the leading argument for capitalism is success comes to those who work hard enough. "Work hard and you'll have my job some day"

Oh, yeah, that's bullshit. Just working hard doesn't necessarily get you anywhere. If anything it's a trap to string people along & gouge more production out of them.

There are virtually zero CEO positions unfilled. Meanwhile even a cursory glance will show you 'help wanted' signs at most fast food places. Do you feel that each of those positions has the proper price point set given that data?
-
No, I even said that I think the wage gap is WAY out of proportion because wages have been artificially kept low. The min wage should be somewhere around $23 per hr. But a fry cook shouldn't be paid the same as a CEO because they sweat more.

I honestly thought that rabbit tweet was a right winger being sarcastic.
The problem with CEOs and similar board roles, is they effectively choose their own pay and are the arbiter of what skills are worth and just coincidentally rate their own skills as being worth millions. -
Sure, I don't think that the current corporate structure should go without criticism, but I don't know how you could argue that a fry cook & a CEO should be paid the same, outside of a minimum wage. I think the upper limit of their pay has definitely grown too much tho

Maybe, my argument is that "ease" is a dumb argument. Production of capital & skill sets are what drive wages. The min wage should go up because the average worker produces more capital or the same rate, those should scale together.
