So do we just not do satire or irony or depict morally bad or ambiguous characters because there's a percentage of the population who think the bad guys are good? No. The issue is that many are claiming films/tv shows/games that depict bad people are therefore endorsing them.

If you're trying to say that theres enough people out there that are that impressionable to copy Joker's behavior in his movie, then you're honestly being a fear monger. Even some of the more rowdy people on the far left and right aren't that easily influenced.
