I was the first to break news of the accident. I said it occurred because a bicyclist swerved to avoid an antifa protester. Turns out he had actually collided into her & fell. Mea culpa. Portland Police has sent me a response clarifying what they meant when they said the accident was “unrelated to the protest.”
@wweek & others jumped the gun by interpreting it to mean something else. The woman on the scooter was an antifa protester part of the street occupation.pic.twitter.com/xGf82aRWVn
