This is such a myopic take that doesn't add anything useful to the conversation Buybacks & CEO pay aren't why drugs are so expensive, but they are part of the problem, along with high drug prices Buybacks & prices are both ways to drive higher profits, which leads to higher pay

But they don't reissue them until they will make a profit. If they are lower than the market value & the market value is higher than when they were bought there is a profit. Also, that's not the only factor, as I said it makes their ratios look better & it pays off shareholders
