I I guess Lara Croft makes you feel empowered that’s good, but let’s not pretend that a program somewhere said “I’m going to make her a feminist icon, WITH TITS!” or that all the teenage boys were playing the game because she was an empowered woman

I mean her boobs in game were literally TRIANGLES. It was clearly an error that they left in because they thought it was funny.

Didnt the person who said that lie? Think about it, if it was an error it is more likely that it would be concave through her back and then through the wall behind her. Or the opposite with them looking more like lances than anything.

i mean, they left the bug in on purpose though, right? Why can't it have been an accident initially, but one that was left in on purpose for the reasons mentioned in the first tweet?
-
Because it was gaming in the 1990s, the real reason was "haha big boobs" after someone fucked up a scaling factor. We're barely confronting sexism in games now, 23 years later.

That's bullshit there's no way that the size of her breasts were linked to a single variable

The story goes that he was moving the two vertices on her model simultaneously, and adjusted a single identical coordinate in both by the wrong amount - a thing that actually happens when modeling low-poly-count models like her.
