Hey, I've had a stream to calm down. Genuinely sorry to those offended by 'The Tweet', my aim was not to mock trans people offended by misgendering. Just a dumb joke that came off poorly. Also sorry for quintupling down and getting progressively more stubborn. 1/3

Okay, first off, fuck the ppl saying kys, but having a platform comes with responsibility. If you do edgy shit you're going to get criticism & you have to engage with that criticism responsibly. Also, NEVER assume that people on Twitter "have critical into" about you.

‘Criticism’ isn’t ‘unequivocal cancelling and accusations of being a reactionary’. This community has a problem.

It’s not stupid as hell and it’s certainly not warranted. There are threads of people worrying I’ll become a reactionary and people messaging my friends asking them how DARE they be friends with me. This community is incredibly fucking toxic.

If you wanna explain the toxicity, sure. I don’t really the idea of letting our movement get actively worse because we’re too scared to implement a basic ground-floor behavioral standard

Sure, I don't think it's unreasonable for Trans people to be worried about an ally going reactionary to some degree, but I do think that the way some of those people reacted was toxic
