By @ModalSevenths's own standards he should be deplatformed. My feed has been filled with nothing but bad faith arguments.
There is fair criticism against Socalism & how some Socalists engage, but Destiny is almost indistinguishable from a /pol/ thread on Socalism at this point

it's pretty sad. I've been a fan of his so it's tough to see him going full meltdown mode. his take on workers is incomprehensible and it's somewhat scary to me that he actually does seem to think the 1% are smarter and more competent (rather than more connected)

Honestly, I kinda agree with that too. Just from access to better education etc growing up, on average. I've read some things about Co-ops that looks promising, but idk if you can run an entire market economy on them. But Destiny just strawmans what a co-op even is

I tend to think of education, upbringing etc. as coming back to "connections," there's an educational advantage to going to Harvard vs some community college but I think it's minor compared to the advantage of having Harvard on your CV

Sure that's true. I know there have been studies on how many connections are made. But like just pre K makes a massive difference in outcomes
