Shaun King recently claimed a white man was responsible for killing a child. Turns out he was innocent. Should he be deplatformed? Accusing someone of murder is pretty awful after all... We can find someone detestable without demanding they be banned from everywhere.

You know if you don't like Alex, you can just not watch or support him. Punishing someone for their opinion is not a moral high ground.

Yes it is. Actively opposing racism would be more moral than appeasing it for instance. Stopping Infowars deliberately spreading false information against minorities is definitely more moral than just not watching it.
