I probably should have made my point clear. I'm very good at doing everything but that. The point I wanted to get across was that we should at least be prepared should they try and de-platform those videos from YouTube, even if for a day, like for instance video mirroring.

If I remember right, this happened to
@RationalDis with his video on SA. Since so many people mirrored that video, it actually got a lot more attention that it might have otherwise. It is annoying that we ought to be prepared for this sort of stuff but rn we've not got much else.0 replies 0 retweets 1 like -

The same thing happened to Three Arrows. It always backfires one them.

I'd hesitate to say "always." There are ways my video getting taken down helped it, and ways it hasn't recovered. Can't say whether it balances out, but I know some people get it even worse.

It depends. A flagging can help a channel if a lot of leftists mirror and direct people to subscribe to the channel of the person who was flagged. I've participated in such action before and delete the videos after they're reinstated, as to make sure they get that traffic

This pools subscribers from many channels to expose people to the flagged channel. It obviously helps people with lower sub counts more though.

This is a bit of a side note, but I've been thinking that it might be a good idea to regularly promote other smaller Left leaning channels to have the same effect. I think having people read on videos is a good habit that helps people work together, but we could always do more

Hmm, I haven't thought of a comprehensive plan or anything, but doing some like FF would be a good start. Maybe have ppl do a Tweet where they briefly described their content & then others can RT it. I think colabs & working with others more is good too

Lately YouTube has been good at suggesting new people to me & I was surprised how many people, who only have like 1k subs, are making really good videos

That's true. I feel like bigger channels mostly work with other big channels, which makes sense. There is a bigger benefit to work with people of a similar or slightly bigger size. It's nice to see people get smaller channels out there. Honestly I should be doing this more too
