Okay, I get what you're saying & I think the problem here is that for some people there just isn't a good label. If she feels asexual 99% of the time, but feels attraction 1% of the time what label describes that? Sadly there isn't one. So she is using parts of multiple labels.

I get why people get upset by there being thousands of labels, but people, their feeling, & biology aren't simple. Until we get to a point where everything isn't biased towards straight hetero Cis etc norms people are always going to create new more nuanced labels to belong

Idk like I'm not 100% straight, but I also don't consider myself to be bi. I think there is a label for that. Heterofluid? But I honestly just don't care enough about it to identify as something other than straight. But I can understand why other people do.

kind of like the same way that if a man feels any attraction to other men, even if just 1% of the time, by the very definition of the word he isn't straight Maybe I'm just using different definitions. Again -- uneducated
-
Yeah, once again I think this is kinda how people think about labels. They aren't necessarily a strict clear line. It can be a spectrum. eg the Kinsey Scale. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kinsey_scale …

maybe I'm showing an unreasonable adherence to definitions but if she feels any sexual attraction by definition she isn't asexual Again, maybe I'm being a stickler/pedantic but SHE'S making a point to use all of these and define them -- might as well use them right, no?
