“but they’re too white” “but they’re thin” “but they’re cis” “but they’re abled bodied”

no thats not unreasonable but they implied they wanted gay dudes instead of gay girls not both. there are so many examples of things being “not good enough” i dont have them on hand but it’s been an ongoing, ‘meme’ if you will, since like 2014

How did you get that from those Tweets? The first one says "now post an image of two men kissing" where did they say "take down those women & put up men"? I said this to someone else too, why should things ever be good enough when it comes to equality? That's how you stagnate.pic.twitter.com/BYG4cSGSvu

No, tbh gay men do get a stronger reaction than lesbians. Two women is far easier for the gp to digest than two men. Idc personally but I do understand where they're coming from. But I do agree these types are never satisfied, there's always a "but what about...?"

Sure people can come off as being annoying, but I also don't think we should ever be satisfied when it comes to representing minorities. Being satisfied is how progress stops.

"I'm off on a date" Lol, wow, when did you become funny? That's a nice change of pace. Dude, you twisted the OP's point. How is anything in that screen cap unreasonable?

No, they're mad they showed lesbians instead of gays - the unreasonableness is that they can't accept that one marginalized group was depicted at all solely because another marginalized group wasn't.
-
Okay, maybe we are just reading that differently. It doesn't look like they want the Lesbian couple removed. They just want Gay representation too & they know that's less marketable.
