Leadership starts at the ballot box. The entire PARTY let the Obama family down in 2010, 2014 and 2016 when the right and Trump in particular attacked them mercilessly.
They put us in photos when they want to show our party is diverse. However, when we ask to be at the table, or speak up about issues that impact who we are, what we fight for & why we ran in the first place, we are ignored. Davids, Underwood, Haaland, Hill, and many others showcase Democratic diversity but don't get the heat you, Ilhan Omar, and AOC get because the former stay on msg and stay focused on their districts, while you use yours as a soap box which makes Fox gleeful. Do better Rashida.
