    AND if you’re not (or don’t appear to be) from the class of people who are “allowed” to rest & vacation, any comfort in your life will be resented. The intense mental overhead of anxiety about money is a documented and *intentional* effect of poverty.

    wealth vs sleep is an interesting one given that wealthy people are the ones who actually get to rest, go on vacation, have staff, not be awake worrying about food or utilities or rent, not work multiple jobs. that's how they can be more productive lol

    As a feminist, one of your central goals has to be decriminalizing the entire experience of being a woman. Of keeping women out of prison and safe from police. This is the baseline. No other "freedoms" exist without that, especially not if poor, Black, trans, SWer, undocumented
