Well as another creator I think I can help. What's your content over? What's your target audience? Are you using the correct SEO format? Those things are something you need to consider too. I doubt YT is trying anything because of where you come from. That's nonsense.

Please understand though when I said geo-filtering I meant they, as in the YouTube A.I., may be trying to recommend your content to places close by your actual location (or the location indicated in the location section) so your videos may gain a relevant audience.
