@RapSheet to me, this means SF thinks they will get their "QB of the future" in this draft. -
I think this move is more so they don't have to trade the 2nd pick for Cousins & can sign next year. Hoyer is filler

Hoyer is a respectable QB, could've done a lot worse. Is he Montana? No,but like I said it's likely they sign Cousins
